Junior Academy

We are committed to junior coaching and proud to be getting children into golf. Our PGA professional James Harraway heads up junior coaching and will work with individuals and groups to ensure they get the most out of their sessions.

The Junior Academy is proudly sponsored by Trust Systems Ltd

Junior Organiser

“Hi, I’m James Harraway, the Junior Organiser and one of the PGA Professionals at Cirencester Golf Club. My love for golf started from an early age, when I was introduced to the game by my father, who was also a PGA Professional. I have great memories of being a junior at my own club. So, I am thrilled to be able coach here at Cirencester and am passionate about getting juniors into golf. For me, it is all about learning whilst having fun, so my sessions are informal and enjoyable but also challenging to ensure there’s continuous improvement and that they want to come back.”

Cirencester cobra Sessions

We run our weekly Saturday group sessions and specialised weekday evening sessions for 4-16 year old club members and non-members. They are an informal and fun introduction to golf, with prizes and a mixture of instruction and games. We group the children together in terms of age and ability to ensure they get the most out of each session.

We charge just £8 per session and provide all the equipment too.

If you are after some more focused coaching, I am also available for one-to-one sessions starting from just £15 per lesson for juniors. We can provide video analysis with parental consent. Trackman Dual Radar Technology is available also.
