The Junior Festival for 2011 will run from Monday July the 25th to Thursday July the 28th,  with the Junior Open on the Wednesday, 
 
There will be coaching sessions throughout the week as well as many competitions, including a match vs the seniors,  Texas scrambles, three club challenges, and so on.  The week is open to any junior,  member or not, and it doesn't matter whether they have a handicap or not.  There will be competitions for them to play in both on the academy and the main course.  If, however, they are not a member they need to be over the age of 8 years old.  The reason for this is that the day lasts from 9am - 5pm and so children of a younger age will certainly struggle with all the activities going on. However, fear not there will be day sessions for the youngers ones to get involved throughout the holidays,
 
The cost of the Festival week is £70 for the week or £20 a day.  The cost includes all of your food and drink at lunch time, although I would encourage children to be fully equiped with drink and snacks for each day.  The cost also includes entry into the junior open on the Wednesday the 27th
